Lyrics:

Our Heroes Don’t Wear Capes

They Wear Blue

When There All Asleep

And no one is awake

I’m working late

Making sure you are all okay

Working all these hours

Of course is really hard

But caring for you comes right from the heart

OH I’ll be there

Through all the tears

I’ve got a lot of love and care

I’m Gonna, I’m Gonna, I’m Gonna

Come through

When you’re sick

I’ll be wearing blue

I’ll be wear, I’ll be wearing blue

I’ll be wear, I’ll be wearing blue

Saving lives is what I try to do

When you’re sick

I’ll be wearing blue

If you think you won’t be

Better for a while

I’ll be there to keep you calm

And make you smile

If you feel like it’s not

Gonna be okay

I’ll be there to give you strength

For another day

OH I’ll be there

Through all the tears

I’ve got a lot of love and care

I’m Gonna, I’m Gonna, I’m Gonna

Come through

When you’re sick

I’ll be wearing blue

I’ll be wear, I’ll be wearing blue

I’ll be wear, I’ll be wearing blue

Saving lives is what I try to do

When you’re sick

When you’re feeling the pain

I’ll wear blue

If you’re suffering again, I’ll wear blue

I’ll wear blue through the night and day

To comfort you I’ll be wearing blue
