Sometimes you just need an idea.
Because you don't need lots of expensive things to tell a brilliant story.
Through creative workshops, children use everyday materials, art, craft and their imaginations to create characters, worlds and stories of their own.
The Creative Cupboard, led by Rachel Beckles, is where stories meet making.
A scrap of fabric could become a superhero's cape.
An old sock could become a puppet.
A cardboard box could be a castle.
Every object has a story waiting to happen.

We want to make children's content that children enjoy watching and that might just make them curious enough to ask, "What happens next?"
And some might start with something as simple as a puppet and a very good question.
Some might take us around the world.
Some stories might take us into the past.
We create original children's content inspired by history, culture, books, celebrations and the wonderfully big questions children have about the world.

Journey is one of our larger productions and is available for selected schools, theatres and community programmes.
Because history is full of brilliant stories. Sometimes we just need a different way of telling them.
Created for primary-aged children, Journey takes audiences through different moments in British history, introducing them to incredible people and stories along the way.
